Linda Dressler, John Kerstein and Christopher Tenggren will be among 21 local Illinois association REALTORS® of the Year (ROTYs) celebrated Tues., April 9 at the 2024 REALTOR® of the Year Banquet in Springfield.

The ROTY award recognizes members who have done exceptional work to advance their association and the real estate industry.

Dressler is the Mainstreet Organization of REALTORS® ROTY and is a broker for RE/MAX Suburban in Schaumburg. Dressler served as the Mainstreet president through the pandemic, the association’s 100th anniversary and a new era of diversity, equity and inclusion. She served on several NAR committees, graduated from Illinois REALTORS® Leadership Development Program in 2016 and currently is the State Legislative Contact for State Rep. Michelle Mussman of the 56th District.

Kerstein is the Capital Area REALTORS® ROTY and is the designated managing broker for Keller Williams Capital in Springfield. During his 10-plus years in real estate, Kerstein has served his local association through his work on a variety of committees, including finance and executive. He also shows his commitment to improving the community by volunteering for several local charitable organizations.

Tenggren is the HomeTown Association of REALTORS® ROTY and is the designated managing broker for Weichert REALTORS® Signature Professionals in Rochelle. During his 22-plus years in real estate, Tenggren volunteered for numerous local, state and national committees, served in several leadership positions, served as a State Legislative Contact for State Rep. Jeff Keicher of the 70th District and shown his commitment to RPAC by becoming a Tier 2 RPAC Hall of Fame member.

Dressler, Kerstein and Tenggren will join 2024 Illinois REALTOR® of the Year Ayn Bartok, designated managing broker/owner of All in One Real Estate in Harrisburg, and other local ROTYs at the President Abraham Lincoln DoubleTree Hotel for the banquet. The reception begins at 6 p.m., followed by the dinner and program at 6:30 p.m.
