She’s served in numerous leadership capacities for the local, state and national REALTOR® associations, including the Board of Directors for NAR and Illinois REALTORS®. She became CAR’s first Black woman president in 2020, is the State Legislative Contact for State Rep. Robert Peters and was the Federal Political Coordinator for former U.S. Rep. Bobby Rush before his retirement. She’s an instructor for CAR and was appointed to the Real Estate Administration and Disciplinary Board of the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation.

Holt is the Egyptian Board of REALTORS® ROTY and is a broker for Century 21 House of Realty, Inc., in Carbondale. Long before becoming a REALTOR®, Holt distinguished herself locally through community service.
