Karen Conley Sabella, Carol Shaffer, Robin Simpson will be among 21 local Illinois association REALTORS® of the Year (ROTYs) celebrated April 9 at the 2024 REALTOR® of the Year Banquet in Springfield. Register now to attend.
The ROTY award recognizes members who have done exceptional work to advance their association and the real estate industry.
Conley Sabella is the Heartland REALTOR® Organization ROTY and is the designated managing broker and regional vice president for Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Starck Real Estate in Crystal Lake. She is Heartland’s immediate past president, a current member of its board of directors and serves on a variety of charitable committees in her community.
Shaffer is the Quincy Association of REALTORS® (QAR) ROTY and is the managing broker/owner of Bower & Associates in Quincy. The 2024 QAR president has served on its board of directors and on numerous committees, supports RPAC and has given her time and energy to many civic groups and organizations.
Simpson is the Peoria Area Association of REALTORS® (PAAR) ROTY and is the designated managing broker for RE/MAX Traders Unlimited in Peoria, where she also serves as a pre-license instructor and community relations director. Since joining PAAR in 2004, she’s been a part of numerous committees and is its immediate past president. At the state level, she’s served multiple years on several committees, and she was a 2014 graduate of the Illinois REALTORS® Leadership Development Program.
Conley Sabella, Shaffer, Simpson will join 2024 Illinois REALTOR® of the Year Ayn Bartok, designated managing broker/owner of All in One Real Estate in Harrisburg, and other local ROTYs at the President Abraham Lincoln DoubleTree Hotel for the banquet. The reception begins at 6 p.m., followed by the dinner and program at 6:30 p.m.
