Paula Arpasi, Gabe Caporale, Heather Carter and Peter Cotsirilos will be among 21 local Illinois association REALTORS® of the Year (ROTY) honored April 9 at the 2024 REALTOR® of the Year Banquet in Springfield. Register to attend now.
The ROTY award recognizes members who have done exceptional work to advance their association and the real estate industry.
Arpasi is the Egyptian Board of REALTORS® ROTY and is a fourth-generation broker-owner for Homefinders Realty in Benton. She is the Egyptian treasurer, a member of the Illinois REALTORS® 2024 Leadership Development Class and has served on several committees and work groups on the state and local levels.
Caporale is the Oak Park Area Association of REALTORS® ROTY after years of serving on numerous association committees and as its president in 1990 and 1991. He is such an ardent supporter of local businesses and community organizations, he is referred to as the “Mayor of North Avenue.” He is the president of Caporale Realty Group in Elmwood Park.
Carter is the Northwest Illinois Alliance of REALTORS® (NIAR) ROTY and is a broker for Gambino REALTORS® in Rockford, where she is the relocation and mentorship director. She serves the Northwest association through work for its board, as well as on its RPAC and YPN committees. She’s the current president of the Rockford chapter of the Women’s Council of REALTORS®, too.
Cotsirilos is the Northern Illinois Commercial Association of REALTORS® (NICAR) ROTY and its immediate past president. A retail specialist for Keller Williams ONE Chicago in Lisle, he has built a reputation for maximizing underperforming assets. He is active in the Illinois chapter of CCIM and various charitable organizations.
Arpasi, Caporale, Carter and Cotsirilos will join 2024 Illinois REALTOR® of the Year Ayn Bartok, designated managing broker/owner of All in One Real Estate in Harrisburg, and other local ROTYs at the President Abraham Lincoln DoubleTree Hotel for the banquet. The reception begins at 6 p.m., followed by the dinner and program at 6:30 p.m.
