Homer Glen-area REALTOR® Deborah Prodehl earned a place in the REALTOR® Political Action Committee (RPAC) Hall of Fame in 2019.

She was one of nine Illinois REALTORS® honored during a virtual ceremony April 23. She and seven of her colleagues qualified for Hall of Fame induction in 2019 after reaching $25,000 in lifetime aggregate investments.

“I would not be able to do the business that I do if it wasn’t for RPAC and the relationships we have with congress and other elected officials,” said Prodehl, Eastern Region Vice President for Coldwell Banker The Real Estate Group of Homer Glen. “RPAC is crucial for our industry but I never really understood the importance of it until I started my deep involvement with REALTOR® associations.”

Prodehl is serving her fourth consecutive term on the Illinois REALTORS® Board of Directors and has been on numerous state committees, including chair of the Business Issues and License Law Forum Committee. She’s a member of the 2017 Illinois REALTORS® Leadership Development Class and a former president of the Three Rivers Association of REALTORS® following years of committee involvement. In addition, she’s been a part of the National Association of REALTORS® Board of Directors and a state representative for the Broker Involvement Council.

Prodehl has been an RPAC Major Investor for seven years and a member of the President’s Circle for four years.

In 2019, she was a Sustaining Golden R and a member of the President’s Circle. She’s been an RPAC Major Investor for seven years and a member of the President’s Circle four years.

  • Deborah Ahrens, a broker for Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Elite Properties in Edwardsville and Dolan Realtors in Union, Mo.
  • Nicholas H. Apostal, a broker for Keller Williams Chicago-Lincoln Park;
  • Matthew Farrell, managing partner and designated managing broker for Urban Real Estate in Chicago;
  • Dallas Hancock, retired CEO Peoria Area Association of REALTORS®;
  • Michael Maloof, president of Jim Maloof Realty, Inc., in Peoria;
  • Mark Massey, broker for Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Elite Properties in Edwardsville; and
  • Georgia Pierini, broker for Baird & Warner Residential Sales in Glenview.

In addition, an Illinois member of the RPAC Hall of Fame reached the $50,000 milestone in lifetime aggregate investments: Greg St. Aubin, senior vice president of governmental affairs, Illinois REALTORS®.

Illinois REALTORS® annually recognizes new inductees in Springfield before they are officially inducted into the National Association of REALTORS® RPAC Hall of Fame in Washington, D.C. The names of all nine REALTORS® will be placed on the Hall of Fame Wall at the Illinois REALTORS® headquarters and the national ceremony will be scheduled in the future.
