Illinois REALTORS® will urge members to contact their state legislators early next week and oppose Rent Control legislation.
In the Feb. 8 State Capitol Report, REALTORS® can learn more about anticipated subcommittee and committee votes next week on House Bill 255 regarding Rent Control, as well as the introduction of House Bill 2192, which seeks to impose Rent Control throughout the state.
This news comes as Illinois REALTOR® lobbyists review 4,638 bills introduced so far by the 101st Illinois General Assembly, including 2,000 in just the last week.
