Have you seen the new #HomeRunHome commercials for Realtor.com featuring the wives of Major League Baseball (MLB) stars?
Baseball fans in Illinois may be familiar with at least two of the families involved because one star plays for the Chicago Cubs and another just finished an eight-year stint with the St. Louis Cardinals. The ad campaign features Julianna Zobrist, wife of Cubs second baseman-outfielder Ben Zobrist, and Leslee Holliday, wife of former Cardinal outfielder Matt Holliday, who is in his first year with the New York Yankees. A third MLB wife, Jennifer Utley, is the spouse of Los Angeles Dodgers second baseman Chase Utley.
Professional athletes travel frequently during their seasons and sometimes have more than one home. In addition, these athletes may move several times during their careers to play for different teams. Zobrist has played for four MLB teams in his pro career: the Tampa Bay Rays, the Oakland A’s, the Kansas City Royals and the Cubs. Holliday has been on four MLB teams: the Colorado Rockies, the Oakland A’s, the Cardinals and the Yankees. Utley has played for the Philadelphia Phillies and the Dodgers.
So it makes perfect sense that these wives are familiar with the process of moving. Find out what these ladies have to say about it.
