Belleville City Treasurer Dean Hardt and a representative of the St. Louis Battlehawks XFL team are among the special guests scheduled to appear Thursday as the REALTOR® Association of Southwestern Illinois (RASI) kicks off its 100th year of business.
The RASI Centennial Celebration Kickoff begins at 4 p.m. at the Edge in Belleville.
Started on June 5, 1920, RASI is one of the oldest local REALTOR® associations in the state. The association strives to protect the rights of private property owners and association members on the local government level.
Leaders of RASI include: CEO Deb Frazier, President Donna Baker of RE/MAX Preferred in O’Fallon, President-elect Celeste Wheeler of RE/MAX Preferred in O’Fallon, Treasurer Karen Sheesley of RE/MAX Preferred in O’Fallon and Immediate Past President Judy Ross of Southern Illinois Realty in Smithton.
