IMPORTANT REMINDER:

Real estate entity license renewals were due to IDFPR by Oct. 31, 2022. Late renewals are subject to a $50 late fee. Late renewals will be accepted online until Nov. 30. After Nov. 30, real estate entity license renewals must be submitted using the paper renewal form.

Designated Managing Brokers are responsible for ensuring their office and branch licenses are renewed and in good standing. A real estate entity operating under a non-renewed license could face additional penalties (fines and/or a license disciplinary action).

To check a real estate entity license expiration date and print a license visit IDFPR’s Get My License page.

Professional licenses currently in renewal include:

  • Real Estate Branch Office (no fee required)
  • Real Estate Broker Corporation
  • Real Estate Broker Partnership
  • Real Estate Limited Liability Firm
With regard to branch offices, even though licenses are no longer required, IDFPR is asking branch licensees to renew, but without a fee. The renewal of branch offices will provide IDFPR with a record of office locations for sponsoring brokerage companies. The online professional license renewal will function much the same way as it does for other professions except the branch office fee will show as $0.00 and the licensee will be able to click through to process the renewal.
