More than 120 REALTORS® came to Springfield for the Illinois REALTORS® Professional Standards Workshop Tuesday.
Topics included grievances, ethics hearings, arbitration and procedures. The course fulfilled the National Association of REALTORS® (NAR) requirement for Code of Ethics training for the 2020-2021 cycle.
The course was conducted by Illinois REALTORS® President-elect Sue Miller and Illinois REALTORS® Director of Ethics and Professional Standards Rebecca Carraher. Matt Difanis, chair of the NAR Professional Standards Committee, explained changes to the NAR Code of Ethics. The chair of the Illinois REALTORS® Professional Standards Committee, Vicky Turner, assisted with training.
Illinois REALTORS® offers another Professional Standards Workshop in Oakbrook Terrace Wednesday, from 8 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
