NAR legal video gives 4 best practices regarding social media and fair housing

In the August Window to the Law video, REALTORS® can learn how to avoid illegal marketing through social media.

While acknowledging social media’s power for real estate professionals, NAR Vice President and Deputy General Counsel Lesley Walker says Facebook’s advertising platform has been the subject of several investigations by federal agencies and a lawsuit by the National Fair Housing Alliance. Just a few days ago, the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development filed a fair housing complaint against Facebook.

NAR also offers a transcript of the video and copies of the slides used in the video.
