NAR CEO Bob Goldberg, NAR President Elizabeth Mendenhall and six other members of the leadership team are part of the cover story in the July issue of RISMedia’s Real Estate Magazine.

The story explains how the group is working together to serve its members proactively instead of reactively. Mendenhall is quoted as saying, “Bob has brought a culture of ‘yes’ to the association. He says, ‘Let’s see if we can do it before we say no.’ That attitude gets you endless possibilities because any idea can be explored.”

Part of the changes initiated by Goldberg requires that 350 NAR staff members in Washington, D.C. and Chicago either shadow a REALTOR® in the field, attend a sale or staff meeting or visit a state of local association. The Day in the Life Program is just one of several initiatives designed to change NAR from within.

Goldberg became CEO on Aug. 1, 2017 after serving with NAR for 22 years.
