REALTORS® from around the state will gather at the Abraham Lincoln Presidential Museum in Springfield Monday evening to honor the 2018 state REALTOR® of the Year Michel D. Oldenettel.
Oldenettel, the managing broker of RE/MAX Professionals in Springfield, will be joined by REALTORS® of the Year from 23 local associations in Illinois.
In a real estate career that has spanned nearly three decades, Odenettel has been active in all levels of the REALTOR® association. In 2013, he led the statewide association as president of Illinois REALTORS®. He served two terms as president of his local association. He is a long-time member of the National Association of REALTORS® Board of Directors and has chaired two national committees.
A strong believer in the power of REALTOR® political advocacy, Oldenettel is among an elite group of REALTORS® inducted into the RPAC Hall of Fame for lifetime contributions of at least $25,000.
