Michael Gobber, managing broker and partner of Century 21 Circle in Westchester, was named the 2025 Illinois REALTOR® of the Year at the state association’s REengage Winter Conference in Bloomington-Normal today. The award honors individuals whose dedication to excellence has profoundly enhanced the industry.
Gobber has been a leader in the real estate industry with his local association, the Mainstreet Organization of REALTORS®, Illinois REALTORS® and the National Association of REALTORS® (NAR).
Gobber has been a REALTOR® since 1999. He led the Mainstreet Organization of REALTORS® in 2019 and was named its local REALTOR® of the Year in 2021.
He has been just as active at the state level. He is a long-time member of the Illinois REALTORS® Board of Directors and has served on countless committees and working groups. In 2023 he led the state association as Illinois REALTORS® President.
At the national level, Gobber has been an NAR Director since 2020, has served on multiple committees and is a 2021 graduate of NAR’s Leadership Academy. He is currently NAR’s Regional Vice President for Region 7, representing Illinois, Indiana and Wisconsin.
Gobber understands the power a strong REALTOR® political advocacy program can have on the industry. He is among an elite group of REALTORS® nationwide who have been inducted into the REALTORS® Political Action Committee (RPAC) Hall of Fame for lifetime contributions of at least $25,000.
Congratulations to Michael Gobber, who will be formally recognized and celebrated at the REALTOR® of the Year Award banquet April 28 in Springfield!
