Illinois REALTORS® Treasurer Matt Silver was honored as one of three recipients of the 2022 Political Involvement Award during the Illinois REALTORS® Capitol Conference in Springfield Tuesday.

The award honors Illinois REALTORS® for achievements and excellence in political and grassroots involvement.

Silver, a partner and senior broker with Corcoran Urban Real Estate in Chicago, was honored for his work as a champion for REALTOR® advocacy at both the state and federal level.

He serves on both the Illinois REALTORS® and National Association of REALTORS® Board of Directors and has chaired state and national committees, including those with a political focus. He currently serves on NAR’s RPAC Trustees Fundraising Committee and is a longtime Federal Political Coordinator and State Legislative Contact.

Silver sets an advocacy example by taking his work as a Federal Political Coordinator to the next level by maintaining strong communication with his Congressional representative to make sure REALTOR® issues are at the forefront.

He is a past president of CAR, was named its 2018 REALTOR® of the Year and received its 2013 REALTOR® Achievement Award.
