Congratulations to Mark Massey, a broker with Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices in Edwardsville, who was named one of three recipients of the 2022 Political Involvement Award during the Illinois REALTORS® Capitol Conference in Springfield Tuesday.
The award honors Illinois REALTORS® for achievements and excellence in political and grassroots involvement.
Throughout his real estate career, Massey has been committed to promoting the power of REALTOR® political advocacy at the state and local level.
He is currently vice chair of the Illinois REALTORS® Political Involvement Working Group, and is a member of the state association’s RPAC Trustees, Strategic Planning, Professional Standards, Finance and Nominating committees.
Massey is the State Legislative Contact for Illinois State Sen. Rachelle Crowe and assisted the Illinois REALTORS® Governmental Affairs team with contacting and sharing the association’s concerns about legislation pending in the Illinois General Assembly.
He is a longtime contributor to the REALTORS® Political Action Committee (RPAC) and in 2019 was inducted into the RPAC Hall of Fame for an aggregate lifetime investment of at least $25,000.
Massey is a member of the Greater Gateway Association of REALTORS® and served as its president in 2018. His political advocacy extends to his local association where he has assisted his local Governmental Affairs Director with policies and issues there.
