Lynn Madison has been honored with the IAR Political Involvement Award
Congratulations to Illinois REALTOR® and educator Lynn Madison, owner of Lynn Madison Seminars in Schaumburg, on receiving the Illinois Association of REALTORS® (IAR) 2014 Political Involvement Award.
The award is given for outstanding political and legislative service to the REALTOR® organization. Madison is a true believer in the importance of a strong governmental affairs program and the power of REALTOR® grassroots political involvement. She was honored during IAR Public Policy Meetings on Wednesday in East Peoria.
Upon receiving the award, Madison said political involvement is the right thing for REALTORS® to do not only for the real estate business but also for the benefit of every homeowner, renter and potential homeowner in the state.
“I’m thrilled to do it, that’s why we all do it, but to be honored by you is amazing,” she said.
Madison has been actively involved in the REALTOR® organization at the local, state and national levels. A member of the Mainstreet Organization of REALTORS®, Madison is the 2015 president-elect for the local association. At the state level, she has served on countless committees and task forces including the Political Fundraising, Major Donor and Major Investors working groups.
Her dedication to strengthening REALTOR® political efforts also extends to the national level where she is involved in the 2014/2015 REALTORS® Political Action Committee (RPAC) Participation Council for the National Association of REALTORS®.
Madison is among an elite group of members of the RPAC Hall of Fame, having been inducted in 2006. She also is a member of the Illinois RPAC President’s Circle and continues to be a Major Investor year after year.
