Members of Illinois REALTORS®’ 2021 and 2022 Leadership Development Class and other REALTOR® members attended the Illinois REALTORS® Leadership Academy Feb. 9-10 in at Illinois REALTORS® Headquarters in Springfield.
The group participated in discussions led by facilitators Bruce Aydt, ABR, ABRM, CRB, Green, Senior Vice-President and General Counsel of Prudential Alliance REALTORS® and Adorna Carroll, DSA, CRB, ABR, SRS, GRI, SRES, Broker/owner of Realty3 of CT and President of Dynamic Directions, Inc. Aydt was named REALTOR® of the Year by the St. Louis Association and Missouri Association of REALTORS®. Carroll has been training future leaders for local and state associations all over the U.S. and Canada. Both Aydt and Carroll are previous recipients of NAR’s Distinguished Service Award.
The two-day interactive Leadership Academy helped members identify their strengths, practice strategic decision-making, develop strong interpersonal skills, learn how to lead rather than manage, and empower others to reach their full potential.
