Among the 23 local association REALTORS® of the Year who will be honored April 9 at the 37th Annual REALTOR® of the Year Banquet in Springfield are Patricia Kloepping and Steve Myers.

Kloepping, GRI, a broker with RE/MAX Town Lake and Country in Shannon, is the REALTOR® Association of Northwestern Illinois (RANWIL) REALTOR® of the Year. Kloepping has served on the RANWIL Board of Directors for nine years and was the association president in 2014. A broker since the year 2000, she earned the Graduate, REALTOR® Institute designation and was active in the local chapter of the Women’s Council of REALTORS®. She’s also served on the Carroll County Board and is an advisor to the Lanark Area Community Foundation.

Myers, is president and managing broker for Myers Commercial Real Estate, Inc., of Springfield, and is the REALTOR® of the Year for the Capital Area REALTORS®. A former local association president, Myers has chaired the Commercial Real Estate Network Committee and served on several local, state and national REALTOR® association committees. An RPAC Major Investor, Myers is the State Legislative Contact to state Sen. Tim Butler of the 87th District. He’s been active with numerous local organizations including: Downtown Springfield Inc.; the Greater Springfield Chamber of Commerce; Crimestoppers of Sangamon and Menard counties; the Mid-Illinois Medical District Commission; and Illinois Route 66 Events, Inc.

Kloepping and Myers will join Illinois REALTOR® of the Year Michael D. Oldenettel of RE/MAX Professionals, Springfield, at the Abraham Lincoln Presidential Museum in Springfield for this special event.
