The Kankakee-Iroquois-Ford Association of REALTORS® has tapped a former board president as the new association executive officer.

Tina M. Franklin was named to the role, and will take over for Connie Legris when she retires at the end of the year, the association announced. Franklin is immediate past president of the Kankakee-based association which represents nearly 250 real estate professionals.

Franklin, of Bourbonnais, is currently project manager for T. Altiery Construction and Consulting in Braidwood and a broker with McColly Bennett Real Estate in Bourbonnais. Previously, she had worked as food and beverage director for the Hilton Garden Inn and Conference Center in Kankakee.

She’s a graduate of the Illinois REALTORS® Leadership Development Program, and was 2018-2019 president of KIFAR. In 2009-11 she was secretary of the Home Builders of Kankakee.

Legris has been with KIFAR since 1998.
