Six local charities will benefit from donations collected by the Kankakee-Iroquois-Ford Association of REALTORS® (KIFAR) at its Christmas dinner and auction last Thursday.

A total of $3,390 will be split between the Salvation Army of Kankakee County, Hospice of Kankakee County, Harbor House of Kankakee County, Harbor House of Iroquois County and Iroquois Memorial Hospice in Watseka, said KIFAR CEO Connie Legris. In addition, the association collected $500 for the Illinois Veterans Home in Manteno.

The 2019 KIFAR leadership team includes: President Tina Franklin, President-elect Chip Chappell, Treasurer Vernie Foster, Secretary Lynn Randazzo, Immediate Past President Leanne Provost and CEO Connie Legris. The association, which consists of REALTORS® from Ford, Iroquois and Kankakee counties, includes 220 members.
