Chicago Agent magazine recently reported on the Illinois REALTORS® Relief Foundation providing $15,000 in relief assistance to residents displaced by a gas explosion in Chicago’s Austin neighborhood this fall.
“We believe in helping our neighbors in their time of need because that is who we are. Our hearts really go out to these families,” said Katherine Bezares, the Illinois REALTORS® Governmental Affairs Director who helped organize relief signups in the area. “We hope that other organizations and companies will step forward and provide assistance, in any form, as well.”
