Illinois REALTORS® wants to thank member Tommy Choi for serving on the National Association of REALTORS® (NAR) 2021 Leadership Team as Vice President of Association Affairs. The team has guided NAR’s strategic direction and policymaking for the last year.

Choi, of Weinberg Choi Residential at Keller Williams ONEChicago, will participate in that leadership role at the REALTORS® Conference & Expo this week in San Diego.

In October, Choi was honored by 2021 Illinois REALTORS® President Sue Miller with a Presidential Medallion for his service over the last year at the national level and for his ongoing work as an advocate for Illinois. Outgoing presidents annually award the medallions to people who make significant contributions to the association and the real estate industry.

Throughout his career, Choi has been active at all levels of the REALTOR® organization.

He has been a member of the Illinois REALTORS® Board of Directors and has served on numerous committees and working groups since 2012. He has chaired the Strategic Planning Committee and is the State Legislative Contact for Rep. Greg Harris of Chicago. In 2014, he was part of the Illinois REALTORS® Leadership Development Class. He was recently inducted into the 2020 RPAC Hall of Fame.

He has served as a NAR director for five years and is a past chair of the NAR Young Professionals Network Advisory Board. He is a past president of the Chicago Association of REALTORS® and a member of its current board of directors.
