Starting in August and continuing into October, Illinois REALTORS® will continue its tradition of scheduling Let’s Talk Real Estate educational events between members and their legislators.
The first Let’s Talk Real Estate is scheduled for Aug. 11, bringing together state Sen. Erica Harriss (R-Glen Carbon) and REALTORS® living in Illinois Senate District 56 or parts of Madison and St. Clair counties. The next Let’s Talk Real Estate event has been scheduled on Aug. 23 for state Rep. and Deputy Majority Leader Natalie Manley (D-Romeoville) and REALTOR® constituents of the 98th District, which includes all or parts of Bolingbrook, Crest Hill, Crystal Lawns, Romeoville and Joliet.
At these get-togethers, REALTORS® can share their concerns about housing issues and public policies that impact the real estate industry. Members will receive email invitations to these free events, which consist of a member mixer, a presentation, questions from the audience and a mixer with the legislator.
