Illinois REALTORS® offices closed Monday, Oct. 8 for Columbus Day

The Illinois REALTORS® offices will be closed on Monday, Oct. 8 in observance of Columbus Day.

The offices will reopen on Tuesday, Oct. 9.

In 1937, the United States established Oct. 12 as a national holiday, honoring Christopher Columbus for discovering America in 1492. In 1971, the holiday was moved to the second Monday in October.
