Illinois REALTORS®’ delegation to the MIPIM international real estate conference in Cannes, France, began arriving today.
The group includes 10 people selected as part of stipend program that sought to provide Illinois REALTORS® members with the chance to learn about and build global business. The conference officially starts on Tuesday.
MIPIM is one of the largest real estate conferences in the world. Illinois REALTORS® has used the event for the last three years to promote the REALTOR® brand and promote Illinois as a place to do business.
The stipend recipients got a briefing last month from Intersect Illinois on how to market the state. That, combined with local market knowledge, allows the delegation to pitch the state’s attributes from within the NAR pavilion.
NAR established the pavilion as a way to bring together local associations from throughout the U.S. under a common marketing umbrella.
MIPIM runs through Friday. Illinois REALTORS® will have updates nearly daily.
