Illinois REALTORS will play a role in sponsoring events at the Republican and Democratic part conventions this summer.
The association’s board of directors voted unanimously to approve expenditures for a reception for Illinois’ state and federal delegation at the Republican National Convention, to be held July 18-21, 2016, in Cleveland.
It also approved a breakfast for members of the state and federal delegation at the Democratic National Convention in Philadelphia, July 25-28, 2016.
The vote continues a longstanding practice of having an Illinois REALTOR® presence at both political conventions. The organization is bipartisan in nature.
