Four REALTOR®-owned MLS systems announced they would consolidate into one new multiple listing service and commercial information exchange.
The Capital Area REALTORS®’ MLS, Egyptian Board of REALTORS®’ MLS, the Peoria Area Association of REALTORS®’ MLS and the Quad City Area REALTOR® Association MLS will combine to form the RMLS Alliance, LLC. The new MLS will cover territory in Illinois and Iowa, running from Cairo, Carbondale and Mt. Vernon in southern Illinois through Springfield, Peoria, Galesburg and into the Quad City Area on both the Illinois and Iowa side of the river. The change involves 61 counties over two states, more than 30,000 square miles and serve more than 2 million customers.
