IDFPR’s Broker license renewal portal is now open for brokers to renew their licenses online. Broker licensees should have received an email notification from IDFPR with login information and must renew their licenses on or by the April 30, 2024 deadline.

Licensed Prior to Nov. 1, 2021

- Brokers licensed prior to Nov. 1, 2021 need to complete 12 hours of CE and 1 hour of Sexual Harassment Prevention training (may be included as a course package or taken as a separate course).
- Get 12 hours of CE now.

Licensed Nov. 1, 2021 to Oct. 31, 2023

- Brokers licensed Nov. 2, 2021 to Oct. 31, 2023 need to complete 45-hours of Broker Post-License coursework consisting of three 15-hour courses, each ending with a 50-question exam (coursework must include the required Sexual Harassment Prevention training).
- Get 45-hours of Broker Post-License coursework now.
Licensed on or after Nov. 1, 2023

- Your license does not expire until April 30, 2026. Your must complete 45-hours of Broker Post-License coursework consisting of three 15-hour courses, each ending with a 50-question exam (coursework must include the required Sexual Harassment Prevention training).
- Get 45-hours of Broker Post-License coursework now.
How to renew your Broker license
After completing education requirements, submit your license renewal application and $200 State of Illinois licensing fee to IDFPR’s license renewal portal on or before April 30, 2024.
