Hall sees opportunity in MIPIM

Moses Hall of Miller Chicago Real Estate in Chicago is one of 10 Illinois REALTORS® who will receive a MIPIM stipend following the 2018 MIPIM conference in Cannes, France March 13-16.

The stipends will reimburse up to $1,500 in trip costs for each of the 10 REALTORS®.

Hall is active with the Chicago Association of REALTORS® Young Professionals Network. With the Illinois REALTORS®, he serves on the Public Policy & Governmental Affairs Member Involvement Group and the Commercial/Industrial/Investment Committee. He is in his second year as State Legislative Contact for Marcus Evans, Illinois House of Representatives, 33rd District.

In anticipation of his trip to France, Hall agreed to answer a few questions.

How did you become interested in MIPIM?

“As a natural-born entrepreneur, I am always thinking of ways to network and learn from other industry professionals,” he says. “I wanted to expand my business internationally and after much research I came across MIPIM. I have been following MIPIM for the last three years, saying each year that I have to finally make it. So, when I saw the opportunity to receive a stipend to go, I was excited to apply. This is a dream come true for me to finally travel to France and attend this conference.

What do you hope to get out of it?

“Outside of the knowledge gained from conferences as such, I want to start building long-term relationships with other professionals in the real estate industry,” he says.

What makes MIPIM relevant to REALTORS® like you?

“With my expertise in commercial real estate, I work with investors all over the country investing in the Chicago market,” says Hall. “To be a resource to my clients, I need to be aware of what’s going on in various markets internationally. In addition, I may have local investors that are looking to buy property internationally, and I’d like to be able to refer them to agents based in those countries.”
