On Monday evening, the RPAC Pacesetter VIP Event honored REALTOR® and Inland Real Estate Chairman Daniel L. Goodwin and attracted Illinois Governor Bruce Rauner, House Speaker Michael Madigan, Senate Republican Leader Christine Radogno, House Republican Leader Jim Durkin and former House Speaker Lee Daniels.
Prior to the ceremony as guests mingled, they took turns posing for photos with Gov. Rauner and Speaker Madigan. Then, Illinois REALTORS® President Doug Carpenter, President-elect Matt Difanis, Treasurer Dan Wagner and Past President Mike Drews explained to the crowd why Goodwin had been chosen to receive the first-ever Lifetime Achievement Award from the state association.
