This week at the Illinois State Capitol, Gov. J.B. Pritzker gave his State of the State Address, recently elected Senate President, Senator Don Harmon announced his leadership team and more bills were introduced to the 101st General Assembly, according to the Jan. 31 edition of the Illinois State Capitol Report.
Among the issues covered by Pritzker was a call to reduce property taxes and to consolidate taxing units in Illinois.
