Evanston residents of all ages are invited to visit Faith Temple Church of God on Saturday for free tips on budgeting, home buying, home financing, finding real estate agents, saving and investing. 

Organized by the Dearborn Realtist® Board, in conjunction with the city of Evanston, “Evanston Community Day: Building Black Wealth Through Homeownership Workshops” begins at 9 a.m. and lasts until 3 p.m. Residents are urged to register in advance. Information sessions will include: 

  • Homeownership – Steps to Home Buying 
  • Better Money Habits! 
  • Investor Bootcamp 
  • Kids Investment Bootcamp 
  • Careers in Real Estate and Mortgage Banking 

In addition to the individual workshops, participants will be able to enjoy free raffles, giveaways, food and a kid zone. Faith Temple Church is located at 1932 Dewey Ave. Face masks will be required.
