With REALTOR® input, Champaign has implemented a targeted ‘landlord registration’ that addresses safety issues without affecting housing costs. Illinois REALTORS® opposes burdensome registry ordinances that negatively impact affordability and private property rights and therefore applauds the city for its adoption of a thoughtful, balanced policy.
