Nearly 750 REALTORS® gathered at the Bank of Springfield Center for the Capitol Conference & Legislative Briefing and then moved to the State Capitol for numerous meetings with their state senators and representatives of the Illinois House.

Greg St. Aubin, senior vice president of governmental affairs then explained the association’s opposition to proposed legislation on rent control, expansion of home rule and sealing eviction court records. Also, he explained reasons why members support a number of House bills limiting private property inspections and consolidating governmental units of government among others.
