More than 50 people gathered at Illinois Association of REALTORS® Headquarters Friday morning to help raise money for repairs to the Illinois Governor’s mansion, eat breakfast and have photos taken with Chicago Blackhawks Chairman Rocky Wirtz and the Stanley Cup.

Participants paid $1,000 for two tickets to attend the event, and donations of $2,500 and $5,000 garnered four tickets each. Illinois Governor Bruce Rauner, IAR President Jim Kinney and Wirtz greeted guests before the photography sessions began.

The Illinois Executive Mansion Association is a non-profit board created in 1972 to preserve and oversee the restoration of the building. Following his election, Gov. Rauner  pledged to help the association get funds to make needed repairs. His wife, Diana, is the chair of the board.

Other members of IAR Leadership in attendance were President-elect Mike Drews and Treasurer Doug Carpenter.
