Congratulations to Illinois REALTORS® CEO Jeff Baker on being named the 2026 Association Leadership Liaison for the National Association of REALTORS® (NAR). The announcement was made during this week’s NAR Legislative Meetings in Washington, D.C.

Baker has led Illinois REALTORS® as CEO since 2021. He had worked in various capacities with the association since 2014, including serving as the association’s associate general counsel and deputy CEO. He is only the fourth full-time leader of Illinois REALTORS® in its more than 100-year history.

Liaisons are chosen by the NAR President to serve as a conduit for communication between the leadership group and assigned committees, help committees operate effectively and help identify future committee leaders. Only 15 liaisons are chosen each year from REALTOR® leadership and membership around the country.
