Chicago REALTOR® Nicholas H. Apostal is a member of the REALTOR® Political Action Committee (RPAC) Hall of Fame Class of 2019.

“It was never really my goal to get in to the RPAC Hall of Fame,” said Apostal. “I just gave because the causes were important to me. It’s a wonderful surprise to get to this point.”

The broker for Keller Williams Chicago-Lincoln Park was one of nine Illinois REALTORS® honored during a virtual ceremony April 23. He and seven colleagues qualified for Hall of Fame induction by surpassing $25,000 in lifetime aggregate investments in 2019.

Apostal’s first managing broker, David Hall, mentored him and urged him to support RPAC very early in his career. “I think of RPAC as insurance for my business,” says Apostal, who has 18 years as a REALTOR®. “I really appreciate all the hard work the association does on our behalf, and I realize that it doesn’t happen in a vacuum. It takes active participants who are willing to make their voices heard and put their financial backing behind the issues that impact them.”

He is in his third year as a member of the Illinois REALTORS® Board of Directors, second year as an RPAC Trustee and his second year on the Global Business Council. He was a part of the Young Professionals Network (YPN) Advisory Group/Committee for five years. He is the State Legislative Contact for state Rep. Jaime Andrade of Chicago.

In 2019, Apostal was a Sustaining Golden R investor. He has been a Major Investor eight years and a member of the President’s Circle for three years.

Illinois REALTORS® annually recognizes new inductees in Springfield before they are officially inducted into the National Association of REALTORS® RPAC Hall of Fame in Washington, D.C. The names of all nine REALTORS® will be placed on the Hall of Fame Wall at the Illinois REALTORS® headquarters and the national ceremony will be scheduled in the future.
