Illinois REALTORS® met with representatives from a Mexican real estate association on Monday as part of a two-day trade mission which keynoted by Illinois Lt. Gov. Evelyn Sanguinetti.
The event at the Rosemont Doubletree Hotel was sponsored by the Mainstreet Organization of REALTORS® and Illinois REALTORS® President-elect Doug Carpenter welcomed the lieutenant governor and those attending the event.
The trade mission brings representatives of Asociacion Mexicana de Profesionales Inmobiliarios to Chicago to learn about how to grow and develop business in the U.S. Among the sessions are those exploring the Chicago real estate market, the processof developing leads in the U.S., legal and the tax implications of cross-border ventures.
The trade mission concludes Tuesday with a four-hour visit of the Chicago area.
