Longtime IAR member Pat Dalessandro was recommended to be regional vice president for 2017 by IAR the board. The nomination must be sanctioned by NAR.
Region 7 includes Illinois, Indiana and Ohio, and as president Dalessandro will work on REALTOR® advocacy both regionally and at the national level.
Sheryl Grider Whitehurst is 2015 vice president. John Kmiecik was 2014 vice president. Both Whitehurst and Kmiecik are former IAR presidents.
Dalessandro was IAR president in 1997, and was named Illinois REALTOR® of the Year in 2008. He has served as chair and as a member of numerous IAR committees.
The IAR board sanctioned the recommendation at its meeting in East Peoria on Jan. 22, 2015.
