REALTORS® can join several experts at 1 p.m. Tuesday for the National Association of REALTORS®’ Facebook Live event titled, “EU Privacy Rules: How you could be impacted.”
Among other things, you might need to get affirmative opt-in before you can collect visitors’ browser data, and you may need to have a process in place for removing information about a person if they request it.
The issue is important because on May 25, new European data privacy and security rules will take effect and your real estate business could be impacted, even if you don’t market to Europeans.
