In the October issue of Illinois REALTOR® magazine, a two-page spread gives examples of Illinois Bicentennial projects the association is already involved with. See the story titled, “Capital Area REALTORS® steps up for bicentennial project.”
In addition, you’ll see a pair of ads on the opposing page. One encourages REALTORS® from anywhere in the state to buy an engraved brick in the Bicentennial Plaza project in downtown Springfield. The other encourages REALTORS® to visit the Expo at the NAR Conference & Expo this week in Chicago, to get some of the bicentennial flavor. Members will receive a REALTOR® Heart Pin and will be able to take a selfie with Abraham Lincoln. As part of the bicentennial, Illinois REALTORS® are using the theme, “Working with heart in every community.”
Other feature stories in the October issue include:
- 8 Ways REALTORS® Overcome Obstacles to Homeownership
- Connecting with Gen X Clients: Giving Attention to the ‘Middle Child’
