Durkin continued his public service as an assistant Cook County state’s attorney. While working as an assistant state’s attorney\, Durkin served in the felony trial and narcotics bureaus. Durkin currently practices law in the City of Chicago. \nDurkin currently resides in Western Springs with his wife and family. \nIllinois’ 82nd House District includes parts of Cook\, DuPage and Will counties\, including Burr Ridge\, Hinsdale\, Homer Glen\, Indian Head Park\, La Grange\, Lemont\, Palos Park\, Western Springs\, Willow Springs\, Willowbrook and Woodridge \nAbout Senator Dan McConchie\nDan McConchie (R) was confirmed as Illinois Senate Republican Leader on Jan. 13\, 2021. McConchie has served in the Illinois State Senate since April 2016\, representing the 26th District of Illinois Illinois. The award honors individuals whose dedication to excellence has profoundly enhanced the industry. \nIn a real estate career that has spanned 35 years\, Carpenter\, who holds a managing broker license\, has been involved in all levels of the REALTOR® organization. In 2017\, he led the statewide association as president of Illinois REALTORS®. \nCarpenter twice served as president of his local association and was the CEO of Three Rivers Association of REALTORS®. He is currently a member of the Mainstreet Organization of REALTORS® and has been awarded the local association’s Key Award honoring his commitment to the industry. \nHe has served 19 terms on the Illinois REALTORS® Board of Directors and has contributed his talents to a variety of the association’s committees\, working groups and task forces in his career. In 2009\, Carpenter was honored with the Illinois REALTORS® Distinguished Service Award. \nREALTOR® education has always been a priority for Carpenter. He served as president of the Real Estate Educational Foundation\, a not-for-profit organization established to aid and promote the work of real estate education throughout Illinois\, in 2009 and 2010. \nOn the national level\, Carpenter has been involved with the National Association of REALTORS® (NAR) as a long-time member of the NAR Board of Directors and has served on numerous committees. \nHe is among an elite group of REALTOR® association members nationwide whose monetary contributions have earned them a spot on the RPAC Hall of Fame in NAR’s Washington\, D.C.\, offices. He is the managing broker of Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Snyder Real Estate in Bloomington. \nLicensed in real estate since 1976\, Neaves served as the 2017 president of the Bloomington-Normal Association of REALTORS® and was honored as his local association’s REALTOR® of the Year in 2011. He was awarded his local association’s Hall of Fame Lifetime Achievement Award in 2016. \nAt the state level\, Neaves serves on the Illinois REALTORS®’ Board of Directors and has chaired a number of working groups and committees\, including the Federal Political Coordinators and Major Investor working groups and the REALTORS® Political Involvement\, Strategic Planning and Finance committees. \nHe is the Federal Political Coordinator for U.S. Rep. Adam Kinzinger and is among an elite group of REALTORS® nationwide who have been inducted into the REALTORS® Political Action Committee (RPAC) Hall of Fame for lifetime contributions of at least $25\,000. He was honored for his political leadership with the 2015 Illinois REALTORS® Political Involvement Award. \nOn the national level\, Neaves has served repeated terms on the REALTOR® Party Member Involvement Committee for the National Association of REALTORS® (NAR) and is a member of NAR’s Board of Directors. \nNeaves is also an entrepreneur who has owned and operated restaurants and radio stations in central Illinois. He a past president of the Bloomington-Normal Area Home Builders Association\, McLean County Humane Society and the Bloomington-Normal Jaycees. He has served on the boards of the McLean County Chamber of Commerce\, United Way of McLean County and currently serves on the Miller Park Zoological Society Board of Directors. \nNeaves graduated from the U.S. Air Force Academy and served in the Air Force until 1978. He has an MBA degree from Illinois State University.
