Course Description
This 3-hour seminar/webinar will cover the latest in Federal Tax Law changes that have taken effect in the last several years that impact tax years 2024 and 2025 going forward. These changes impact all taxpayers, including homeowners, prospective homeowners, owners of both residential rental as well as commercial rental properties and the self employed Realtor. This includes the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act of 2017, effective in 2018-2025, which will most likely will be extended by the incoming Trump Administration. A thorough review of the most significant tax strategies and write-offs for the real estate professional will be covered including the benefits of the S CORPORATION STATUS, depreciation strategies such as BIFURCATION and COST SEGREGATION STUDIES, the IRC 1031 REAL ESTATE EXCHANGE and other strategies/issues that will maximize tax reduction. These items and a thorough review of relevant tax laws that REALTORS should be aware of will be the focus of this seminar/webinar.
