Course Description
Students will learn about the different types of real estate auctions, auction pricing and key terminology; how different types of real estate auctions work; how to prepare before bidding at a real estate auction; what to do if you or your client are the winning bidder at a real estate auction; how brokers make money by participating in real estate auctions; the benefits of the auction method of sale  for buyers, sellers and brokers; how to identify the types of properties and sellers best suited for auction; the key factors that impact whether a real estate auction is successful; how to avoid common pitfalls involved in buying or selling property at a real estate auction; and the key ways in which real estate transactions involving an auction are different from a traditional sale
