U.S. military veterans who want to start a career in real estate may request benefits for live and virtual classroom pre-license class fees through the GI Bill®. Only Illinois REALTORS® live instructor-led broker pre-license courses are eligible. After June 1, 2022, no virtual classes will be approved for the GI Bill benefit.

  • You must be an eligible U.S. military veteran who meets the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs’ guidelines for the GI Bill® benefit, including High School diploma, GED or college transcripts and Certificate of Eligibility.
  • Attend a live pre-license class at one of more than 65 participating Illinois REALTORS® classroom branch locations.
  • Complete and submit the Request for Veterans Benefits form.
