Technology and social media can be a powerful tool for today’s REALTOR® as the more than 200 attendees of RE Tech Con Chicagoland discovered. The day-long event was the initiative of The Community Alliance of Chicagoland REALTORS®, a collaborative venture of the Chicago Association of REALTORS®, the Mainstreet Organization of REALTORS®, the North Shore-Barrington Association of REALTORS® and the REALTOR® Association of NorthWest Chicagoland.
Covering some of the top trends in the industry was keynote speaker Stefan Swanepoel, the highly regarded real estate speaker and author of the annual Swanepoel TRENDS Report and the annual Swanepoel SOCIAL MEDIA Report. Other speakers included: Ginger Wilcox, a REALTOR® and social media guru; Emily E. Bader, a word of mouth marketing expert; Peter Krause, founder of Terradatum; and Kelley Koehler, a REALTOR® who generates 90 percent of her real estate business online.
