I’ll have to admit, when I first started using Twitter, I asked myself “What’s so great about Twitter?”  It takes a little bit of experimenting to really find your way around this social media tool, but not to worry.  This post is about cutting to the chase and becoming effective using Twitter to mine information that will help you in your business. If you don’t have a Twitter account yet, go to twitter.com and get signed up for a free account and you’ll be ready to read on.

If you are new to Twitter, don’t worry about tweeting (sending messages) to begin with.  Concentrate on getting a feel for the tool and how to best use it.  It can be a great source of information.  I’ll show you some tools that will get you started using Twitter right away to get some of this useful information. Soon you’ll need a way to sort through all of it to find the good stuff.  I’m going to show you how to do that, too.  Then I’ll show you how to begin organizing it so you can find what you’re most interested in more quickly.
