Sue Miller, managing broker of Coldwell Banker The Real Estate Group in McHenry and an active member of the Illinois REALTORS®, has been named the 2019 treasurer nominee for the state association.

An Illinois REALTORS® Board of Directors vote is expected to formally place Miller on the leadership ladder later this year. Miller’s selection by the association’s Nominating Committee

was announced Tuesday, April 10, 2018.

She served two terms as president of her local association and was twice honored as local REALTOR® of the Year. In 2017, she was honored as the state’s Illinois REALTOR® of the Year.

At the state level, Miller served a total of 11 years on the Illinois REALTORS® Board of Directors and can always be counted on to offer time, expertise and leadership to the association’s committees and working groups.

An industry trainer as well as REALTOR®, she is committed to promoting education, ethics and professional development. This REALTOR® has served multiple terms as chair of the Education Working Group and is a long-time member of the REEF board of directors.

She is a “Sterling R” contributor to the REALTORS® Political Action Committee and is one of a select few in the state who has been honored with the Illinois REALTORS® Distinguished

Service Award. She has been active with the National Association of REALTORS®, is a member

of the Women’s Council of REALTORS® and is a past president of the Illinois Chapter of the Council of Residential Specialists.

Once the nominating committee’s selection is sanctioned by the association’s board of directors, Miller will join other Illinois REALTOR® leaders in 2019, including Dan Wagner, who will become president; Ed Neaves, who will become president-elect: and Matt Difanis, who will be immediate past president.
