IAR continues to voice opposition to Senate Bill 274 (Fiscal Year 2015 Emergency Act) as it moves to the House for consideration, reports the IAR State Capitol Report.
The bill was sponsored in the Senate by Sen. Dan Kotowski of Chicago, passed, and is sponsored in the House by Rep. Linda Chapa LaVia. The intent of the bill is to restore cuts in grant line items for the current fiscal year.
